Procedure: Revision Rhinoplasty
This patient presented after a devastating injury where he lost most of the cartilage in his septum. He complained of severe breathing difficulties through both his nostrils with the inability to breathe from either side of his nose. He also was very concerned from the collapsed appearance of his nose. He was found to have lost most of his cartilage from his septum from a complication stemming from his injury. A small strip of cartilage from his rib was used to reconstruct his nose and correct his breathing problem.
